It didn’t come out fast. Because of their lack of internet, 15 was released a little slower than normal.
16′s raw came out at the usual time.
Basquash airs at like half past one on a Friday morning in Japan.
In North American time zones, that means you can expect the raw to show up on Thursday sometime. Usually we have translation done by Saturday, but due to our translator’s lack of internet, this has been the main/only source of delay, causing us to release episode 15 a week late.
i secretly like the late release this week. it drives me crazy waiting for the next episode, but im not switching sub groups cause i love your guy’s work so much. keep up the good job.

Well, I mean, the other groups don’t release fast either.
Basquash is an incredibly underrated series and is better than 90% of the summer 2009 anime lineup. Although the ending of episode 15 was a bit anticlimactic.
Anyone can tell me what’s QC/TLQC mean?
It means the subbed version of the video is checked for any encoding errors, grammar errors and such forth. Then the translation is rechecked for anything that doesn’t make sense or is badly translated.
Then the problems are fixed

xD how you know he’s downloading porn? And no streaming have low quality….that goes with all streaming! Besides for HD stream….
what else wouls it be? And I know streams have pretty low quality(most of the time) but it’s not like he’s watching it for the great story…He just want’s to fap on something, heck why not use an image.

how come when i download the episode i cant see any subs, and it says its done with subbing?
@Takeshi, we may be releasing v2s of Basquash! at some point. This will probably be done via a batch torrent once the series is complete, as we will then have time to re-QC episodes in case there are any mistakes. I know they are large episodes and you would like to burn them ASAP, but perhaps you could burn other series or simply delete earlier episodes and then re-download once the batch arrives. Or, you could burn them to DVD-RWs.
Another great job Umai, just got done watching it. And yes from what I saw, the ball is mighter then the sword, at least in Dan and Iceman’s hands it is.
