Hello again,
Sorry to be a bit late this week. That was mainly the editor’s fault, as he ended up having a busy day IRL. What’s important is that the episode is out now! This week we see Goro pitch a ball right at a batter’s head (note the picture above…) and see how everyone reacts to that. Great episode. Watch it!

We decided to v2 episode one due to a few issues:
1. Our original encode was made from a relatively low-quality raw. At the point we decided to sub the series, the first episode had already aired so our capper had not captured it for us. We managed to get a transport stream to use, and re-encoded using that which should yield a noticeably higher-quality video experience.
2. There was some editing and translation inconsistency due to some confusion about terms. Standards for these terms were established for episode two onward, so since we were re-encoding episode one anyway, we decided to make some script fixes.
We hope you enjoy this higher-quality version of the first episode of what is shaping up to be a great season!
Please note that we are unable to provide a patch for the original file as it is a completely different encode, not just a script fix.
P.S. We’re still looking for an Oofuri S2 translator.
This week’s episode is all about Tatsumi looking cool in weird positions.

Well, this week’s episode is done a bit faster than last week thanks to a bit more organization on our part. We still think we can be faster and maintain or even improve our quality, so we’ll see how the next few episodes go.

In this week’s episode, the Hornets take on the Grizzlies, and due to a comical series of events, they run out of baseballs and need to extract eyeballs to play with instead. Ends up being a great, fun episode.
We were slower than expected this week due to an unexpected delay with getting raws, etc, which pushed things back a bit, but the episode has now been released, so we’ll see you back here next week for episode three!

Umai Fansubbing is back this season to sub Major Season 6. This is one of our favorites here at Umai, and we wanted to give people a fast, high-quality option for this great show. We hope you’ll enjoy our subs as much as we’ll enjoy making them.
This new season is revolutionary, as it includes real English. That’s right, not just Engrish, but real English! Needless to say, we are impressed. Anyway, this looks to be a great start to the season. We apologize for being a bit slow this week – took a while to even decide we were going to sub this. Expect faster subs for next episode, which should be… well, in a few days!
