Your statement contains a couple errors as far as I know.
1) This translation isn’t blak’s. He’s a good friend of mine and a fellow translator of TFT. I usually like staying anonymous, but I don’t think blak would want to be burdened with the responsibility for my translation mistakes.
2) The translations I supply do indeed belong to Umai Fansubs. Why? Because I translate Major on behalf of Umai. I share my translations before we, Umai, release because I thought I could do the world a favor, but now I’m starting to think twice reading some of these responses.

Our standards do not allow us release an unfinished product. We don’t get the point of stupid business as releasing a “version 0″ or a product that is not meant to be the final version. Of course, our products are not always perfect but it is to the best of our abilities, if it is not… why do we fansub? Might as well just watch it raw.
You know what? If you have such ‘huge’ problems with waiting for Umai, just learn Japanese and get out of here. For the past 10 years that I’ve been downloading fansubbed animes, Umai are the fastest. Even if they take 2 weeks. 3 weeks. A month. They would still be among the top 3-4 fansubbing groups. After everything is subbed & encoded, it gets muxed and it’s an “RC#”. Then it is QC’d (Quality Check) to find errors that may exist. We usually just RC once and apply the fixes and release.
However, this week, we had an editor who is not following Major. Does this mean he sucks? No. So, we’re having our QCers go over it twice to make sure any continuity has been changed.
What does this mean? An edit that is consistent throughout the series.

The quality was certainly sufficient for enjoying an episode and making due once in a while. Certainly sufficient for that, as opposed to whining like children to a group of people you should be thankful for. Groups like Umai that combine quality with speed have spoiled fansub watchers; I remember waiting MONTHS at a time for a new episode, but now people whine and complain when they have to wait a couple extra days. It’s sick, honestly.
Hi, i normally don’t post comments since i’m fine with fansubbers delaying releases for their personal lives, but with all the silly comments being posted i thought you could do with another positive one, thanks for working hard on subbing this series, even if each episode is 10 days late(Which it isn’t) it would still be better than the alternative, the quality of the subs are always top notch and fairly fast, just remember for every whiner there are 100 or so none whiners quite happy to wait for you to release your FREE finished product.
On the topic of the translation, don’t stop releasing it because of a bunch of prepubescent kids who don’t understand they are infact watching your translation badly timed and edited, i for one watched the release because it was really itching at me this week and am thankful you were kind enough to release the translation to a free site where another fan was kind enough to time it for the impatient people.
