guys take your time this way we can watch multiple episodes after eachother.
well, im going on vacation in a couple of days so i cant watch it anyway.
but is mayor ending already, i think i can speak for all that we want to watch more and i know that there is so much more they can show, so even if this is the last season they could make us happy with a couple of movies.
It wouldn’t surprise me if this was the last season. Notwithstanding the new ED, bringing back the first season’s opening song is the sort of thing you do in the last season.
Ditto about bringing back the old OP. It (along with the footage of chibi Goro and his dad in the OP) isn’t the type of things one does when there’s another season left to go. The new ED I think could go either way cause though it’s a review of their past it seems to have an open ending to it like it could go either way. Guess we’ll only know once this season comes to an end. However, I shall keep my fingers crossed for a 7th season while I enjoy the ride this season.
I am hoping for some movies if this really is the last season, but a full season would be preferable to movies.
They have 6 seasons already, so why not 7 and finish alongside the manga? It’s not like baseball is dying in japan, Major can ride the wave of World Series MVP Matsui aka Itao in Major.
I get the feeling that they are setting this season up to come to a good end, just in case. I feel optimistic about how it’s going — I’m enjoying the most of any season so far, I think! I don’t think it will be rushed at the end, even if it is the last season, and I somehow feel it will be satisfying, even to those of us who know how much more material is out there — a movie would be great, if not one more season! But I think I’d prefer a full season to a movie, also, as it seems more complete way to end, somehow!
And it wouldn’t shock me either, just sadden me. I have a feeling that, when it does end, we’ll all be able to clearly tell when we see the last episode. Major has a history of setting up the next season very clearly. I get the feeling that, when the end comes, we’ll know it for sure. If it were up to me, the last scene would be Goro and Kaoru sitting together in the stands watching their son pitch a Little League game, that would be fitting, like bringing a sort of conclusion to Goro’s story by bringing it all full circle to where it started.
i remember the last episode of season 5. The ending sequence was Goro pitching in the Majors with Gibson Sr. and all his friends watching. I thought maybe the animators had given up on the series and forgo a season 7.
But Season 6 started before the first game of the Major League season.
So if Season 6 ends before the manga, the animators might do a similar episdoe as in season 5 that looks like the ending and pick up season 7 eventually, since I heard that there is enough stuff on the ongoing manga to do a season 7
i love what you said goro and kaoru sitting together in the stands watching their son pitch a little league game and that starts goro’s new dream to make his son a great rival to gibson jr son…or otherwise toshi’s son..
It’s part of the new ED music which began with this episode, and occurs towards the end of the music and credits, just before the scenes for next time.
“So in all, Calan’s just a gigantic faggot.”
lol that made me giggle
That’s why I love you guys <3
Looking forward to it, take your time!
“P.P.S: New ED makes me think this is the last season of Major.”
Arg…but isn’t there alot more content left? So we might get a rushed ending? Noooooooooo!

That would sadden me. I am almost teary. That is not nice, Ashitaka.
